The author of the article points out that many mass media outlets such as the "Wall Street Journal" newspaper paid little attention to U.S. President George W. Bush's final State of the Union speech, instead paying more attention to U.S. Senator Edward Kennedy's support of presidential candidate Barack Obama. The author points out that citizens must focus on the results of Bush's administration, two wars and an uncertain economy, and vote for a change.
