The article discusses a Democratic caucus held in Las Vegas, Nevada at Rancho High School on January 19, 2008. The author states that the event was very unorganized and that attendees were confused over the event. He states that U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton presents herself through the lens of change and used rhetoric like "hopes" and "dreams." Candidate Barack Obama stressed his experience as an organizer, civil rights lawyer, and a state legislator.
