The article comments on the difficulties facing political parties in England. According to the author, political parties are weighted heavily with outside forces too powerful to overcome. The author adds that it is likely that parties will soon be showing that they are subject to inevitable law of politics. The author also mentions that a political leader has a big responsibility in circumstances of unstable party equilibrium.
