This article focuses on the life of aids activist Larry Kramer. The author referred to him as a pain in the ass as they're old college friends, in a manner of speaking. They were in the same class at Yale and they knew a number of the same people. At the time of our fifteenth reunion, Kramer happened to be in the process of moving to Greenwich Village, and he has been author's neighbor and friend ever since. Kramer's approach to the struggle over AIDS seemed to be based on the notion that acting with prudence and restraint would have been an insult to those who were dying while others took no action.
