This article presents the author's views on the assessment U.S. President Bill Clinton's personal and political life and its effect on the political situation of the United States. With each disclosure of the President's irrepressible libido, he shoots up in the polls and ever-larger sums of money pour into the Democratic National Committee. About Karla Faye Tucker, who was the first woman in the U.S. to get death sentence since 1984, the author says that Clinton has contributed powerfully to the triumph of capital punishment in our era. Clinton signed the 1996 antiterrorism act, which makes it almost impossible for people on death row to use the federal courts in their appeals.
