The article focuses on the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, which has completed the first half century of its legal existence. The University of Michigan is regarded as one of the most prominent higher educational establishments which derive a large part of their revenue from popular taxation. It is informed that the University has received about a million of dollars from the State treasury during the last two decades.
