The article looks at the human toll of the war in Iraq and the issue of when to begin to withdraw United States Armed Forces from the country. The author reviews how more American soldiers have died in Iraq than in all U.S. conflicts put together since Vietnam. Demographic statistics related to the deaths caused by the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are reviewed. The author also discussed the financial costs of the Iraq war. Numerous graphs depicting miscellaneous information related to the war in Iraq are included.
