The War on Al Jazeera

The article presents an editorial discussing the recent claim that U.S. President George W. Bush proposed to bomb the headquarters of the Al Jazeera network. It is the author's view that Al Jazeera has done more than any other to break the stranglehold over information related to the war in Iraq. The article reviews the report that the White House proposed the idea of bombing Al Jazeera's international headquarters in Qatar in the "Daily Mirror."
