Criticizes Filipinos for allowing President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to continue as the leader of the Philippines after intercepted telephone conversations showed her attempting to influence the outcome of the 2004 elections. Report that Arroyo blocked a bid to impeach her; Lack of demonstrations against Arroyo's electoral fraud; Report that two thirds of students in political sociology at the University of the Philippines said the democracy was not worth saving; Claim that Filipinos are emigrating to Europe, the United States and the Middle East; Prevalence of poverty in the Philippines.
