Focuses on the stance of the Democratic Party in the United States on the issue of reproductive rights. Report that right-wing Republican Party members are pushing for pro-life judicial appointments and fetal-rights legislation; Attempt of the Democratic Party to take a moral stance on the issue of abortion; Criticism of the religious right's efforts to promote their vision of family values; Increase of HIV infections among gay men, minorities and drug users; Decrease of funding for HIV-prevention programs by the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush; Funding given by the Bush administration for abstinence-only programs overseas; Discussion of the effectiveness of comprehensive sex education in preventing unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
