The article is a comic strip suggesting a current Social Security plan is a fairy tale. Once upon a time, a devilish little chicken got it in his head to shout…"The sky is failing! The sky is failing!" He terrified the other birds telling them the only safe place for their nest egg was the livestock market. Little Chicken convinced the farm to give the eggs to the Three Little Pigs. They worked in a straw house down on Wall Street. The Pigs invested the eggs in the Three Bears Soup stock. The three blind mice were hired to explain to the outraged chickens how all their nest eggs had been lost. And as the farm sank in a sea of debt, The Butcher, Baker and Little Chicken comfortably floated away in a golden tub.
