This article presents news briefs. A conference on "War and Global Capitalism. Unemployment and Recession" will be held, which will be attended by speakers to highlight their views on the above topic. The speakers can talk about wealth and poverty, and the economic forces that generate increasing income inequality, among and within countries. They can cut through the confusing terminology that is used to prevent ordinary intelligent people from understanding and participating in discussions on the policies that affect our lives. Further more, a brief information about Chris Marker's "A Grin Without a Cat " is mentioned in the article.
