The article deals with events taking place in various parts of the world. A conference related to war and peacebuilding will be held between June 4 to 11 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Speakers include U.S. Congressman Dennis Kucinich, Angeles Arrien, Sam Keen, Riane Eisler, Balkan peace leaders, youth activists and others. An announcement has been made to release a special issue of the "Review of Radical Political Economics," on Feminist Political Economy. New York Civil Liberties Union and New Yorkers Against the Death Penalty has organized a rally, to protest against capital punishment, on April 28.
