This article presents information on various socio-political and administrative developments in the U.S. and from around the world. One of them is the report on the U.S. President George W. Bush's speech on marking the six-month anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. In a clear effort to massage the sensibilities of nations worried about escalating U.S. unilateralism, he spoke of the power and vitality of coalition partners against Al Qaeda and singled out for praise nations from Denmark to Uzbekistan. Another being the scandal that rocked companies like Enron Energy Services Inc. in the U.S.
