The article presents information on the events scheduled to be held from September 25, 1996 to October 26, 1996 in the United States. Randy Shaw, author of "The Activist's Hand book" will read and sign books in Mill Valley on Wednesday, September 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the Depot, Palo Alto. A Conference on "Feminist Perspectives on Population, Immigration and the Environment" will be organised from October 25 to October 26 at Union Seminary, 3041 Broadway, Manhattan. The Institute for Policy Studies presents the Twentieth Annual Letelier-Moffitt Memorial Human Rights Award on Thursday, October 3, 1996, Washington (D.C.).
