The article presents information on various special events that are scheduled to be held in the month of March 1997. It is reported that, Ralph Estes, author of the book "Tyranny of the Bottom Line," will discuss his practical program for making corporations accountable to all stakeholders at the monthly meeting of the Washington Metro chapter of "The Alliance for Democracy," on Thursday, March 20, at Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, Takoma Park. Jane Holtz Kay, architecture critic of the journal "The Nation," will speak on her new book, "Asphalt Nation: How the Automobile Took Over America and How We Can Take It Back," at the New York Historical Society, New York.
