Presents several letters to the editor. Comments on an article "Borders Belabored," by Liza Featherstone and Emily Gordon, published in February 3, 1997 issue of this journal; Information on a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board charging that Borders "intimidated, restrained and coerced employees, rendering theft free choice in the election impossible; Bashing of daily newspaper "Washington Post," pundit David Broder for calling William Daley a "terrific" appointment for Commerce Secretary because he is a "replication" of the late Secretary, Ron Brown.
