The article presents various events which would take place in the U.S. Boston to New York AIDS Ride would be held between January 11-23, 1997. An extraordinary gathering on strengthening democracy in media with members Victor Navasky, Janine Jackson, Jeff Cohen, Juan Gonzalez, Laura Flanders, Faral Chideya, David Barsamian, Amy Goodman, Mark Crispin Miller and many others will be held on January 31, and February 1, 1997 in New York. A highly interactive, experiential workshop, where one can explore more effective ways of living in a society that is polarizing economically and still sick with racism and other oppressions, will be held in Pennsylvania on January 19, 1997.
