The article presents information about some recent events related with the U.S. One of the events focuses on Economy Connection, a project of the Union for Radical Political Economics. It can provide a speaker for a political or educational event, or someone to discuss economic questions informally with a few members of the community organization, union or classroom of the readers. Another event highlights that one can see the motion picture "The Lovers of the Pont-Neuf" by Leo Carax and then hear Nation film critic Stuart Klawans speak on this on February 4 at the Film center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Illinois.
