The Industrial Future of Massachusetts

The first annual report of the Board of Railroad Commissioners of Massachusetts is an able document lately submitted to the Legislature of that state by Charles F. Adams and two other people, appointed to their offices a year ago. The most interesting portion of the present report to the general public is that in which the Commissioners discuss and formally condemn the traditional railroad policy of Massachusetts. According to the report, due to the railroad policies, the foreign commerce of Boston is at a standstill.
