This article discusses current political and socio- economic issues of the world with specific reference to the United States. While discussing, the article focuses on issues related to the Virginia Bill. The Virginia Bill was amended in the U.S. Senate by the insertion of conditions, binding members of the legislature to swear that they had never taken an oath of allegiance to the U.S., and afterwards taken part in the rebellion or given aid or comfort to rebels. In this shape it went back to the House and was there passed. The new conditions are of little value, except as expressions of the will of the majority in the Senate. The article further focuses on Russian plans with regard to Central Asia.
