Children's Holiday Books

The article presents information on several children's holiday books. "Roundabout Rambles" was so very well-told a collection of stories that it was natural to suspect Frank R. Stockton's heaven-born mission to be writing for children. That suspicion becomes a fixed belief after reading his volume for this year. It is one of the funniest, most entertaining, and otherwise best considered little books. Joshua L. Hallowell's stories so well deserve to be read by more boys and girls than those among the "Bee's Bedtime: Being Stories From the Christian Union's" subscribers that they are given a cordial welcome in their more permanent book-form.
