This article presents information regarding the Dantonist of France Camille Desmoulins. The reputation of Desmoulins began at the time of the taking of the Bastille, and his glory sprang out of the earth in a night, like a mushroom. Camille had become a friend of Georges Jacques Danton, the revolutionary leader of France, he lived in the same house, he was one of those weak men who never know where to stop, and who are led away where they would never have dreamed of going. Camille Desmoulins never wrote a line in condemnation of the massacres of September, 1875.
