The article discusses several books and publishers. Macmillan & Co. have in press a work of a class which is growing more and more in favor or in fashion: "An Account of the Old Streets and Homesteads of England," with illustrations on wood by Alfred Rimmer, and an introduction by Dean Howson. The book "Raven," has been published in France with an accompanying translation by S. Mallarmé, and original fantastic illustrations by Edouard Manet. The book "Genealogy of the Families of Payne and Gore," is the latest publication of the Prince Society of Boston, Massachusetts. It has been compiled, by William H. Whitmore, printed at his own expense, and presented by him to the Society.
