The article gives information about the book "Einfluss des englischen Quäkerthums auf d'e dcutsche cultur und auf das englisch-russische Project einer Weltkirche," by Bruno Bauer. Bruno Bauer, has attempted in a brochure of rather less than two hundred pages with the ingenuity characteristic of his countrymen. At the outset the author intimates that the coupling upon his title-page of English Quakerism with the projected union of the English and Greek churches will rather surprise his readers and this will not be lessened as they open the volume and see in what novel and unexpected companionship some familiar names are placed.
