The article presents information about various books along with their publication. Publisher Fords, Howard & Hulbert have in preparation "Camp and Cabin: Sketches of Life and Travel in the West," by R.W. Raymond; and a children's book, entitled " The Merry-Go-Round." In "Topical Shakespearian," H.H. Morgan has grouped together some 2500 references to books and articles arranged alphabetic under 47 such heads as aphorisms, art, authorship, beauties, botany, characters and so on. The introductory remarks are almost unintelligible. Author George E. Waring, upon the collection and classification of the social statistic cities for the Tenth Census, has issued a circular setting forth various additional statistics, which it proposed to incorporate for the first time.
