The article presents information on several books and publishers. The fourth part of The American Catalogue, published by A.C. Armstrong & Son completes the first volume with the exception of title page and some additional matter, which will not long be delayed. Thomas Whitaker announces as in press The Faith of Our Forefathers, a reply to Archbishop Gibbons' work on the same subject. He will also publish here the Simple Lessons for Home Use and The Shakespeare Birthday Book, reprinted from the English. McCalla & Stavely have in preparation The Refutation of Darwinism; and the Converse Theory of Development, based exclusively upon biologist Charles Darwin's facts, by T. Warren O'Neill. Bibliography of the Writings of Charles Dickens, by James Cook, has just appeared in England.
