The article presents an overview of several literary publications. ' La Roumanie,' by A. Beaure and H. Mathorei, is one of the numerous books called out by the Eastern War. It consists of 219 octavo pages, and contains the "Geography, History, Political, Judicial, and Religious Organization Army, Finances Commerce, Navigation, and Manners and Customs of Wallachia and Moldavia. 'Dictionary of Music and Musicians' has a full index, and entirely fulfils its design as a book of reference.
