This article presents developments in the field of literature and it's publishing. D. Appleton & Co. presents the English translation of two books "Memories of My Exile," and "An Outline of the Public Life and Services of Thomas F. Bayard." Another publisher R. Worthington has announced publishing of the book "Curiosities of Puritan Nomenclature," by Charles W. Bardsley. Loring, Short & Earinon, have issued a fifth edition of Clara Barnes Martin's "Mount Desert, on the Coast of Maine." J.W. Bouton will receive subscriptions for "The Parliamentary Album and Political Atlas of Great Britain and Ireland for the General Election of 1880."
