This article presents information about the book "Noah Webster," by Horace E. Scudder. There is no American who has devoted himself more completely to book-work, or left a deeper mark by it on the English language, or won a wider fame than Noah Webster. A large part of the book consists of discussions of the literary and scholarly condition of New England and New Englanders, and other matters which might belong to a description of the times of Webster. Webster graduated in 1778 at the age of nineteen years.
