The article presents information about the book "The Battle of Groton Heights. A Collection of Narratives, Official Reports, Records, etc.," by William W. Harris. The book is a brief historical sketch that presents the situation at the moment the expedition was undertaken and introduces contemporary newspaper accounts of the event, seven narratives of participants or witnesses, the official reports of the several British commanders and a collection of extracts from public archives, lists of killed and wounded, biographical sketches. The volume closes with a detailed account of orations, poems, sermons and prayers.
