This article focuses on publishers and publishing of several books and literature. A book called "Red Book" just issued by the Baltimore & Ohio R.R. Co. by way of an advertisement, like the foregoing book " Blue Book," professes to contain the most exact compilation of election statistics for 1878. The Fletcher Prize of five hundred dollars founded at Dartmouth College will this year be awarded by the Trustees to an essay on the "Perpetual Obligation of the Lord's Day," provided an essay be offered which is deemed worthy to be printed as a book.
