The article presents information on the book "The Science of Ethics," by Leslie Stephen. It is curious, from a merely literary point of view, to note how much grace arid interest is given to author's style by his habit of dealing with real things rather than with words. The quality which gives the literary charm to Stephen's work is also, as people have intimated, the source of its power. This is exactly one of the cases in which it is impossible to keep apart style and thought-the mode of expression and the worth of the thing expressed.
