The article critically apprises the book "Morocco: Its People and Places," by Edmondo de Amicis. De Amicis was one of several persons selected to accompany the Italian embassy to Fez, Morocco, some years ago and this book is the result of his journey. It is a quarto of some four hundred pages, excellently printed and abundantly illustrated with woodcuts from drawings. The author of this article has reviewed the translated version of the book, which is excellent in the main and illustrations are spirited which adds to the attractiveness of the book. The book presents information about culture, people and places of Morocco.
