The article provides information about several publications, books and journals. Jansen, McClurg & Co., Chicago, publish directly "The Life of Abraham Lincoln," by the late Isaac N. Arnold; and "The Book-Lover: A Guide to the Best Reading," by James Baldwin. Alfred Tennyson's poem, "Freedom," will be printed in Macmillan's Magazine for December. An interesting and valuable book on "Money: A History of Circulating Mediums From Antiquity to the Present Time,' has just appeared at Leipzig and Prague from the pen of Dr. Max Wirth.
