This article presents information related to publishing and publishers of several books and literature. D. Appleton & Co. will publish during the present season Admiral Porter's book "Anecdotes and Incidents of the Civil War." The last annual report of the Geographical Society of Metz has an interesting paper on the movement of population in that city. Jens Jacob Asmussen Worsaae, whose death occurred in Denmark on August 15th, 1885 was not only one of the most famous Dames, but also one of the greatest archeologists of present time.
