The article presents information on the law books recently published as of October 18, 1888. The book "Treatise on the Law of Liens, Common Law, Statutory, Equitable, and Maritime," by Leonard A Jones, is the first thorough and full work on this subject which has ever appeared. He has dealt with all classes of liens and has considered them with reference to the different classes of persons who have right to them, and has pointed out the leading statutory changes in the general doctrines of law. His book embodies a vast amount of labor and will be of greatest usefulness to the profession.
