The article discusses several political and social developments. One such development is the passage of the Copyright bill in the Lower House of the U.S. Congress by a good majority. The passage of the bill in the Senate is almost certain. The Copyright League is entitled to high praise and hearty congratulations on this result of their courage and persistence in the face of all kinds of discouragement. The article further discusses opening of the Force bill in the Senate. It was rushed through the House at such speed that public was not permitted to learn all of its outrageous features and the Senate debate on the bill furnishes first opportunity for that careful consideration.
