Ballot - Reform in the Elections

The article presents a discussion on the legislation in the U.S. The ballot reforms laws were in force in thirteen of the States. There are a few complaints about unnecessary complications in the details of the law in some States. Ten of the thirteen laws provide for a single blanket ballot for each voters upon which are printed the names of the candidates of all parties. Under the blanket-ballot provision, the voter must use some intelligence in the exercise of the right of suffrage, must be able in some way to distinguish the candidates of his choice.
