The article presents information on the political and social developments in various parts of the world. The nomination of David B Bill for Governor of New York at once makes straight the paths of all sorts and conditions of men. Nobody need be in any doubt to the call of duty in the coming campaign. Usually there are complications and hesitations growing out of the mixture of local, State and national interests on one and the same ticket. The most curious practice of ignoring the relation between prices and wages is, that every man who has anything to sell, even he who has nothing but his own labor to dispose of, knows the difficulty of finding a market and is well aware that his very existence depends on his success.
