The article presents information on the book "A History of Sicily," vol. IV, by Edward A. Freeman. That Freeman was a writer who kept far in advance of his printers will be deemed fortunate by those readers who had hoped with his guidance to explore the labyrinth of Sicilian history, and who now have the fourth volume of his great work within reach. More than this, Freeman's son-in-law and the editor of this volume, intimates that two more may be expected, one on the Roman Conquest of Sicily and another on the Norman.
