The article presents information on several books on philosophy. "A History of Philosophy," by W. Windelband, "History of Modern Philosophy," by Richard Falkenberg, "An Historical Interpretation of Philosophy," by John Bascom, "A History of Modern Philosophy," by B. C. Burt. Windelbaud is a German professor of high reputation. His manual history of philosophy, now presented to English readers in such English diction as can emanate from the most modern, if not the most wealthy, of earth's seats of learning, is well known everywhere, his larger work is celebrated. Throughout Germany, this scholar is extolled for his accuracy, for the energy of thought with which he compresses a whole philosophy into a paragraph, and for his crystal clearness.
