The article brief discussion on various developments taking place across the world as of December 18, 1902. The joint forces of Great Britain and Germany has blockaded Venezuela in an attempt to collect by force a few thousand dollars from the country. The Venezuelan authorities are fully justified in declaring that war had been levied against them is unquestionable. International law as well as common sense has no patience with the pretence that hostilities can be labeled peaceful.
