The article presents information on several theatrical productions, "The Tempest, "A Few Good Men," "Three Poets," "Grand Hotel," and "Gypsy." The Tempest is the current production at the Roundabout, directed by the Royal Shakespeare Company's artist Jude Kelly with her New York debut, dispenses with most of the gossamer and gives a fairly vivid account of that half of the play in which the villains are on view. A Few Good Men suffers similarly from a subtext the playwright, Aaron Sorkin, has tried to sweep under the rug. It is, even so, a pretty good play and it has been given a production that maximizes all its virtues, with artists Tom Hulce, Stephen Lang and Ted Marcoux.
