The article presents information on several books related to drama. The book, "The Collected Works of Henrik Ibsen," with introduction by William Archer, contains two five act dramas. In his effort to indicate just when and where Ibsen conceived the germ-idea out of which the play grew, Archer has searched the letter of the playwright painstakingly, but only to miss the truth. In preparing an adaptation of his novel, "The Morals of Marcus Ordevne,'' for the stage, William J. Locke has been successful in preserving some of the best literary flavors in the book and a condensed study of the hero's character.
