The article presents information from the world of music. The book "Erinnerungen an Richard Wagner," by Von Angelo Neumann, is the most important biographic contribution to musical literature since the beginning of the century. "The Merry Widow," the most sensationally successful operetta produced in Europe in two decades, has at last reached the U.S. The New York Symphony Society's programme of December 1, 1907, will be devoted to the Family, as various composers have illustrated it. Music composer Walter Damrosch will give musician Richard Strauss's music "Sinfonia Domestica," descriptive of himself, wife, and child; and Wagner's charming tribute to his wife on the birth of their son Siegfried, entitled "Siegfried Idyl."
