The article presents information from the world of arts. The book "On Art and Artists," by Max Nordau, shows the author's old self-confidence, his old facility of blundering and his supreme contempt for every one else, expressed in his old wealth of vituperative epithet. The Société du Mercure de France issues with a portrait "Écrits et lettres choisies d'Eugène Garrière." His fragmentary writings on art occupy a little more than a third of the three hundred and fifty odd pages.
