The article presents information on the books of science. The book ""The Birds of the Cambridge Region of Massachusetts," is written by William Brewster. The birds of the Cambridge region have been studied longer and more continuously, as well as perhaps more carefully, than those of any other locality or similar extent in all America. For upwards of seventy years attention has been focused on this region. Indeed, Brewster quotes freely writers of the seventeenth century. "The Loose Leaf System of Laboratory Notes," by Theo H. Scheffer is a laboratory manual for elementary students in zoology.
