The articles presents information on several war books. F.G.T. Bayes, who was a passenger on the Japanese steamer "Hitachi Man" when the vessel was captured by the German raider "Wolf" in September of 1917, has written pleasantly of his experiences on board the German ship, in his book "A Captive of a German Raider." Having served in both the French and the U.S. armies William Yorke Stevenson tells of his adventures in the book "From Poilu to Yank." Isabel Anderson's book, "Zigzagging," deals with her war work, which included experience as head, of a canteen in Washington D.C. and as a private in Europe. Any money she receives from its sale is to be given to the Red Cross.
