The article presents discussion on present social and political developments in France and Great Britain as of December 14, 1918. There are 4,000,000 voters in France who live by day's wage. The Socialist members of the Parliament, who alone in politics make profession of speaking in the name of labor, have received 1,200,000 votes. The remaining labor voted have either been cast for defeated candidates or have gone to the candidates nor flying separatist labor flags. Even the Socialist members or Parliament have had the support of a large number of voters who, have nothing to do with manual labor. In Great Britain the war has emphasizes the necessity of some better and more systematic arrangement for giving the British Dominions a share in imperial government.
